Hello World,
Welcome to ACTIP – African Centre of Technologies for Inclusive Participation
At ACTIP, we believe that technology has the power to transform lives when everyone has the opportunity to participate.
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting inclusive digital development by empowering youth, women, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) to harness technology for social and economic progress.
Our vision is an Africa where every individual — regardless of background or ability — can access, use, and benefit from digital opportunities.
Our mission is to bridge the digital divide and promote meaningful participation through capacity-building, innovation, and partnerships.
What We Do
As part of our ongoing efforts to build digital inclusion and resilience, ACTIP has successfully implemented Digital Skills Training Programs across Eastern Uganda, particularly in the districts of Busia, Bugiri, Namayingo, and Tororo.
These trainings have equipped participants with practical and transformative skills in:
Information Technology (IT Skills) – enhancing digital literacy and workplace readiness.
Gig Economy – enabling access to online work and freelance opportunities globally.
Creative Economy – fostering innovation in digital content creation and design.
Digital Agriculture – integrating technology into farming for productivity and market access.
Through these initiatives, ACTIP continues to bridge gaps, empower communities, and create pathways for sustainable livelihoods.
We are driven by the belief that technology should be inclusive, accessible, and empowering for all — because when everyone participates, communities prosper.
